These days color blocking is such a cool trend and its so refreshing to play around with colors.. This lovely dress and has the most refreshing green and pleasing white and navy.. Kate Spade is so expensive, i can only do window shopping there.. this dress is for $395.. anyone willing to gift it to me, please please do. Thank you in advance :)

Princess!

I am a princess!! my dad's princess :)

Anyways, all that everyone is talking about these days is the Royal Wedding! Today, the monarchy in England has been reduced to just celebrity status and nothing more. An ordinary girl Kate Middleton is going to marry the prince and become the princess. Every girl's dream come true.

Most of all that's being discussed is her dressing sense which is surely trendy but yet subtle and classy. Here are a few of her outfits that i loved and though i love her hats and hair accessories, i don't think its an everyday look.

We did go out yesterday to newyork and then it rained and rained and rained :)

Anyways we did manage to get a few photos before that and you can see my outfit for the outing..

 Thats the skyline from near the world financial centre that we went to see.. But because it was so cloudy we couldnt see the sunset..

I am wearing a mauve dress and off white tights, some pearl jewelery all from india and Nine west Boots..

lazy Sunday...

perfect weather and we are sitting at home and A is working!! what a disaster of a sunday... I know, i know, pitfalls of marrying an accountant..

I so feel like dressing up and going out to Newyork. Just read an old old fortune cookie i had received on FB, not really a fortune but quite good - "The people who are late are always happier than people who have to wait for them" So completely true :)

If we do dress up and go out, ill surely post the outfit out for all to see.. Wish me some luck!!

Thank God its Friday

About a month back we had gone to Washington to see the cherry blossoms which bloom once every year. It was an amazing drive to washington as that day was the Cricket world cup final between India and Srilanka.. Bless my iphone that we could watch the whole match as we were travelling and INDIA won!!! after 28 years...

A 'Walk in Clouds" is what we overheard a couple saying and i completely agree.. it was one of the prettiest gardens, like they say heaven will be.. Here are a few photographs of that little heaven..

The beginning

As i am counting that we (M and A) are going to be completing 8 months of wedded life tomorrow and almost seven months of me being at home without a job in sight, i decided to start blogging about us, style, food, cultures and everything else  in between...
