Day 07 → Someone who has made your life worth living for.

My mom, dad, sister, dance ma'am and now A

I have had a wonderful childhood. There has not been one thing that i thought pf sometimes dint even think of and my parents have not done it for me. My mom has always been there for us when we came home from school and my dad dropped us off and picked us up from school.

My mom somehow saw that i loved dancing and they started my dance classes when i was seven and since then wherever my dance teacher went they took me there and never said its too far, its too much work for us, no! they let me become a good dancer and my dance teacher who not only taught me how to dance but also taught me so many life lessons like passion, dedication, hardwork, belief in miracles, God and much much more.

My mom and dad have encouraged me to do all that i wanted to do in life, yet there was never any pressure to perform, excel, no they let me blossom the way i wanted to and thats what has made such a difference in my life. The acceptance of all the good and the bad in me was taken so positively, they let me build my own personality. Yet i always remember, how my dad would tell everyone he met about all the small achievements that i had.

My sister has taught me that i love another person as much as i love myself, completely selfless kind of love. The art of sharing, being there for each other, companionship and so much more. She is so good with all kinds of kids, i am sometimes amazed at the maturity of this girl who acts like a kid herself most of the times :)

A, who probably loved me since they very first time we met and did a class together and now that we are married, he tries and does so much for me even though its been so hard for me sitting at home and being alone for the first time in my life.  But everything is forgotten when he comes home each evening and smiles his dimpled smile and gives me a hug and many many small things that he does for me everyday, though i never tell him how much i appreciate him, i hope he knows i do and that i love him :)

Love you all and i miss my mom, dad, sis and ma'am so much at times.

Love,
Minal

  1. Hi Minal,

Good to see you in the blogosphere!

I know its very difficult to not be working, especially when you've worked in a Big 4 firm in India. The last 11 months haven't been easy on me either and am itching to get back to work. Blogging certainly helps. So keep the posts rolling!

    Warm regards,
    Mounika
